    “Very comfortable cottage ,clean and a lovely welcome pack of milk ,eggs and lemon cake ,a lovely touch ,great bath towels provided and so snug .”

    Few lovely fish caught on site ,,,kennels close by that I imagine in summer months would be very noisy ,,,though an issue was I walked my dog round same field as kennel maids and I have never seen so much dog excrement, they definitely don't bag up and dispose ,could be rather smelly in warm months ,,Robert the owner was a really lovely man and very welcoming

Lakeside Lodge is a superb detached lodge next to a lake, on the owners' estate, five minutes' walk from the village of East Harling near Thetford.

This lodge sleeps two people and has a double bedroom with en-suite and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Outside there's off road parking for 2 cars, a private decking with furniture and free, shared use of estate facilities including hot tub, pool table, riverside picnic area and one acre lake with specimen fishing.

Lakeside Lodge is a great base for a couple or solo traveller.

Thetford 10 miles; Diss 11 miles.

The attractive South Norfolk village of East Harling is steeped in history and centres round the old market square with pretty period cottages and a beautiful 15th century church. East Harling enjoys excellent local amenities with a village store, Post Office, two pubs with restaurants, a fish and chip shop, Chinese restaurant, a chemist and local doctor.
