“I had a lovely break at The Crook.”

It was just my dog and I. We had everything we needed and set on a lovely property, which you share with other guests. The hut is cosy with all that you need. The owner was helpful and he and his team do a great job. It was lovely and clean and I hopefully left it so too esp. with a dog. Loved walking the grounds and local area with my dog too. He was very intrigued by the alpacas.

Get well rested in the double bed before waking up to start your day, begin making breakfast on the hob while your other half wakes up with a coffee in bed, throw some logs on the woodburning stove, and then sit on the cleverly designed old tractor seat stools at the breakfast bar and tuck into your food - you'll need the energy for all the walking!

The en-suite shower lies at one end of the hut containing a shower, basin and WC, while there are shared utilities on site such as a washing machine.

Perfectly suited for the lone traveller, couples and families and mixed groups for family get togethers, holidays or short braeks. Additional accommodation has recently been added with two self-contained traditional Shepherd Huts and a Timber Lodge.
