About the location

INVERGARRY

Fort Augustus 7.5 miles; Fort William 24.5 miles.

The village of Invergarry is situated in a peaceful location, next to the River Garry. The village offers a hotel, ruins of Invergarry Castle and a pine wood. On the first Saturday in July the Invergarry Highland Games take place, plus the Great Glen Way passes through Invergarry allowing walkers to travel from Fort William to Inverness without ever setting foot on a road. Within driving distance is Fort Augustus, which is set at the southwest end of Loch Ness, on a stretch of the Caledonian Canel, and offers a number of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst other places to visit in the area include the towns of Fort William and Aviemore

Fishing with rod and reel is permitted, but only at certain points of the park, not near the slipway due to wildlife .

Please note: No power crafts are allowed on the park

PLEASE NOTE: IF NEED TO CHECK THE RULES AND REGULATION REGARDING THE PARK ONLY THE MANAGERS DETAILS ARE OUTSIDE THE PARK OFFICE.
