“The accommodation is secured by 2 metal gates which are accessed by the security team every 2 hours through the night, it's a tent so every time the gate was opened it made a noise which alerted the dogs, then the footsteps on the gravel made a noise and then the other gate made a noise, the dogs settled down only for the same guard to walk back through 15 minutes or so later, this was as I said above, every 2 hours, we came back needing another break.”
The site and the tent were however lovely, plenty of logs and very cosy, it's just not suitable for dogs that will react to this kind of environment.
