This small market town in Shropshire has a welcoming and quaint feel about it, nestled just north of the Shropshire Hills AONB, near borders of Wales and England, it is the perfect base for touring a wonderful region of Britain. This town is the administrative centre for the northern area committee of Shropshire council and occupies a town hall, train station, real ale pubs, cosy cafes and welcoming restaurants, as well as a few specialty shops bursting with delights. Surrounded by bountiful countryside, this is the ideal place to visit if you enjoy walking, with many trails and routes taking you among picturesque scenery.
