    “We had a lovely stay, we just wanted to get away from our busy lives and stop.”

    Exactly what we hoped for, peace and quiet, gorgeous scenery and a hot tub. Bliss! If I had one little comment to make it would be to have a more comfortable sofa. Other than that, nothing needs changing.

Centrally positioned on the grounds of the owner's working family farm, offering breath-taking views across the beautiful countryside toward the fabulous landscape of Brown Clee hill, rests this pair of unique pods, Cherry Blossom and Withy Willow. Each pod offers a cosy studio-style interior, boasting an open-plan living space accessed via a quirky circular doorway, including a snug sitting area, a charming kitchen housing all of the essential amenities and an intimate dining space. Each pod benefits from their own private patio featuring a luxurious hot tub; a lovely spot to indulge in a soak amongst the bubbles following an action-packed day, whilst the surrounding grounds provide a sociable space to come together for a group celebration. Set next door to the sought-after country house wedding venue of Delbury Hall, Meadow Pods are wonderfully situated to provide an idyllic and tranquil base for guests. There are a number of superb walking routes available from your doorstep, with the secluded woodland of Mortimer Forest, straddling the Shropshire and Herefordshire border, the Corvedale Three Castles Walk, passing through the beautiful Shropshire countryside, and Brown Clee Hill, the highest hill in the county, nestled within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, waiting to be discovered. There's a well-stocked convenience store alongside a selection of pubs surrounding the property, with The Swan and The Crown both serving homecooked food in a traditional setting; make your way into Craven Arms to discover the rest of your amenities, along with several fascinating attractions, including the quirky Land of Lost Content Museum and the town's Shropshire Hill's Discovery Centre, and end the day with a bite to eat from one of the town's many takeaways. The historic market town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amidst the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches. With more than 500 listed buildings, the town provides a fascinating range of architecture including Ludlow Castle which is over 900 years old and is one of the first stone castles to be built in England. Today the castle is open all year round and hosts a wide range of events including outdoor theatre, food, art and literature festivals and many antique and art fairs. Below the castle, Millenium Green offers a large public riverside green and weir and provides excellent indoor and outdoor dining facilities via the Green Cafe located right on the riverside. Ludlow has held street markets since the twelfth century. Nowadays, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year. More than forty stalls selling a range of goods including fresh produce, cheeses, books and a selection of local crafts are on offer with the 'Local to Ludlow' produce market some Thursdays and an Antique & Flea market some Sundays. Ludlow is also a gourmet’s paradise and a shopper’s dream. The town boasts many places to eat and drink, as well as a number of exclusive boutique style clothes and gift shops.
