“We loved the space and layout of the property.”

The sauna is a lovely touch after long days walking to warm up and ease the muscles. A real home from home. Thanks for the water cooler too - it was superb, as you said, and we managed to drink it all in a week! The shower was lovely and powerful and we enjoyed a hot bath after our days out in the mountains. The location is excellent. We got out as far as the Cairngorms and Aviemore went up the mountain. We went up the gondola at the Nevis Range and on to Fort William and then over to Ullapool via the gorge on another day. Just taking a full tour around Loch Ness is a day out in itself with varied landscapes. We walked down into Drumnadrochit one day for lunch at the Fiddlers. It isn't far at all but it is a very steep walk. So much to do in the area and wonderful to have the warm, comfortable Glenview to come back to.

Enter into a world of opulence with this stunning property, where you will find all of the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living area on the first floor.

Each with en-suite, the three bedrooms include storage and a view to the outdoors, starting with a king-size with en-suite shower room with marble-look tiles for a contemporary feel, with the bedroom walls painted to reflect the colours of the landscape and the distant mountains, a king-size with an en-suite bathroom, perfect for a relaxing soak amongst the bubbles after a long days hike, a twin filled with natural light and homely décor, sporting an en-suite wet room, and the hidden gem of the house; a sauna equipped with its own shower, an amazing touch to such a beautiful property and one guests are sure to love.

The first-floor holds the living area of the house, and you will be delighted to find an amply fitted kitchen/diner with wonderful burgundy furnishings creating an eye-catching feature within the spacious kitchen area, as well as a glass dining table with seating for six, and you will love the social aspects of cooking here, with room for all of the family to try out some local recipes.

Relaxation comes with the wonderful sitting room, warming you with a woodburning stove as you recline on the sofa, taking in the contemporary finish of the space with a grey feature wall, double doors opening on to the upstairs hall, and of course, the beautiful balcony with French windows, the perfect spot for a hot chocolate in the evening as you and your family point out constellations in the clear skies.

Outside, a wonderful lawn space provides leisure for your pet, whilst you can enjoy a breakfast outside, with views of the hills and farmland surrounding the house.

The local area has ample shops and restaurants, allowing you to stock up essentials in Drumnadrochit as well as trying out local produce in the cafes and bars, or enjoy one of your favourite drinks in the sun.

The local area is simply teeming with different activities to try out, hikes along the great Glen Way, Munros to climb and mountain bike trails, as well as a visit to the stunning Urquhart Castle.

Close to the property is Loch Ness, possibly the most famous of the Scottish Lochs, where you will find a variety of cruises.

Close by is stunning Glen Affric and the newly opened Dundreggan Re-wilding Centre in Glen Moriston.

If you want a more urban day out, head up to Inverness, where you can indulge yourself in the local heritage and history, for example Inverness Castle and a selection of museums available.
