Victoria, Olivia and Dereck are so welcoming and always there if you need anything and as for the cakes ohhh it was delicious. Thank you for the treats and making us feel welcome. This is our 4th visit and hope to be back next year.

About the location

MARKINGTON

Ripon 6 miles; Harrogate 8 miles.

This small picturesque village is situated in the midst of some of Yorkshire's most beautiful scenery. It comprises a scattering of dwellings and farmsteads, also offering two pubs and a village store. Markington is ideally situated for exploring all of Yorkshire's splendid countryside, with the Yorkshire Dales to the west and the North York Moors and Yorkshire Coast to the east. The fascinating, historic Cathedral cities of Ripon and York are close by, as are the great stately homes of Castle Howard and Harewood House, the Cistercian Abbeys of Fountains, Rievaulx and Jervaulx, and the castles of Middleham, Bolton and Richmond.
