The property

Catterbeck Gardens

Catterbeck Gardens consists of two lovely lodges resting on the outskirts of Kirkbymoorside, a picturesque market town in North Yorkshire. The collection sits just outside the North York National Park and offers bedrooms with en-suites, front decking areas overlooking the countryside, and woodburning stoves making it ideal for a couple’s getaway, while the surroundings enjoy idyllic countryside where you can play a game or two at Kirkbymoorside Golf Club, discover rural life during the Iron Age at Ryedale Folk Museum, and get away from it all with a walk through the North Yorkshire Moors. The lodges are not far from Dalby Forest, which is great for cycle and walking trails, as well as visiting the adventurers paradise, Go Ape. The North York Moors Railway runs from Pickering to Goathland which is where the popular TV series Heartbeat was filmed. Treat your other half to dinner out at one of the nearby eateries such as The Fox & Hounds Country Inn for heart-warming dinners or enjoy takeaway fish and chips from The Lemon Tree, while you can stock up at local convenience stores in Kirkbymoorside. Venture further afield to Malton, a charming market town notorious for food festivals which has a Golf Club, the Eden Camp Modern History Museum, and is close to the majestic Castle Howard. Or perhaps make your way to the sparkling coast where Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay, and Whitby promise a wonderful day by the sea. Take a day trip to Helmsley, which promises a wide range of interesting and unique shops, as well as some of the best food and drink Yorkshire has to offer. Whisk your other half away for an unforgettable holiday at Catterbeck Gardens.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
