There was also lots of toys and games for the children (and adults) to use.
The lodge would definitely benefit from better quality single beds.
Although the lodge was very clean, there was some mould on the bath silicone, also, the toilet roll holders need securing in both bathrooms as they kept falling off the wall.
We did have issues with the boiler as we shouldn’t need to keep refilling the system due to it losing pressure (It’s supposed to be a holiday). There was also no instruction file to refer to for use in the lodge although when asked the owner was unaware that it was missing and was addressing the issue asap
The lodge is well equipped and comfortable and there was no extra charges for cots, a highchair AND our little dog which was a big plus.
It’s easy to miss the turn in to the lane for the lodge as the sign can only be seen coming from one direction, we drove straight past the entrance first time but found it when turning round on the road. Maybe a local planning problem?
We would definitely stay at the lodge in the future as it’s a really pleasant, tidy well kept site, immaculate in fact and we had a great time. Its also very well situated for exploring the area.
Overall a few little niggles but none of which spoilt out holiday at all.
