Tortworth Lodge is a fantastic, single-storey lodge with an opulent décor and a hot tub, resting in a holiday park in Heslerton, near Sherburn, and is ideal for a family looking to explore the countryside and coast of North Yorkshire.

SHERBURN

Filey 11.2 miles; Scarborough 11.4 miles; York 30.4 miles.

Sherburn is a village and civil parish lying in the county of North Yorkshire, although historically part of the East Riding of Yorkshire until 1974. Sherburn rests on the south side of the Vale of Pickering and is immediately north of the Yorkshire Wolds, as well as within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park to the north. Offering a great base for outdoor adventures throughout the North Yorkshire countryside, Sherburn is also not too far from Scarborough and Filey. The village is home to a Post Office, a pub, a convenience store and a newsagents, with a handful of other local businesses too. Nearby attractions include The Great Ryedale Maze, North Yorkshire Water Park, Wykeham Lakes Fishery, Playdale Farm Park, Go Ape Dalby and Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park.
