“The site and lodge were both fantastic.”
The grounds are beautifully looked after and all staff were very helpful. The dog walk area was appreciated apart from it suddenly came to a dead end half way round. We have a big dog and the walk would be great if it could be made bigger. The on site restaurant was really good. We ate there twice, in the dog friendly bar area, and both the staff and food were excellent. The lodge was lovely, very comfortable, and homely. We slept really well as the beds are so comfy. The walk in wardrobes are excellent and plenty of hangers too.
Recommendations - More cutlery than 4 of each. Bigger side plates and deeper bowls for cereal. A hoover in the lodge would be great.
We would definitely recommend this lodge/site and will definitely be back next year.
