“We had a fantastic stay at caban cwtch.”

the views are beautiful, waking upto cows each day was fun for the dogs, and having a coffee on the decked area was nice. The cabin has everything we required for a lovely stay. If anything, I would suggest a harder mattress in the main bedroom, but apart from that fantastic.

“The Cosy Cabin is an absolute Gem!”

The pictures are beautiful yes, but to be there and witness it first hand they just don't do it justice! It's been an absolute sanctuary to come home to after our crazy adventures of days out Gorge walking, Kayaking, Zip lining beach days and the beautiful Caernarfon Castle and nearby beach towns and gorgeous pub lunches. The views from the Cabin inside and out are absolutely breathtaking. The gorgeous lush woodland in front, the mountains either side. The Sea in the distance. Plus our neighbours for the week the cows in our' field were a joy to watch. They even let us feed them some grass! They were excellent entertainment for our young son who loved to also feed and pass them the hard to reach wild flowers growing just out of reach of the ones they had already devoured. We have never stayed anywhere with such beauty all around us! We are already re gigging next years plans to get an extra trip back here. The owners should be extremely proud of this place and what they have done with it! I will be recommending to all our friends and family ✨️❤️

“We had a great weekend.”

Fantastic location, quiet and peaceful. Lots of beaches nearby to explore with our dogs. Cabin (wooden cladded caravan) VERY small, bedroom and bathroom particularly cramped for 2 adults of average size. Double mattress has been placed on a smaller bed frame making it impossible to open the wardrobe doors and felt like sleeping on a jelly. Very difficult to manoeuvre around each side of the bed. Had to cut off some brambles to enable us to negotiate entrance door and laurel hedge badly in need of a trim. Overall inside was neat and tidy but in need of a bit of a polish. Some blinds were broken or missing completely. There was a BBQ but no utensils! Which didn’t stop us from BBQing, just had to improvise with kitchen cutlery (not ideal). No kitchen tea towels but other linen of good quality. We really enjoyed our short stay mainly due to the outdoor space, location and good weather but sadly we won’t be coming back. Compared with other similar properties in the area consider this to be very overpriced.

I've already bought BBQ utensils (to replace some left to rust in the rain by previous guests). I'm sorry I didn't get them there in time for your visit. The lack of kitchen towels, overrown hedges has been noted - thank you. Caban Cwtch is indeed 'cozy'! I have tried to ensure that the description of this property is accurate. The cabin description summary does state the following: 'Note: This property is a 10ft x 28ft wooden-clad modern caravan'. I do agree that the layout of the main bedroom gives ittle room around the bed and will look at maybe replacing the wardrobe with a smaller one to give that little bit of extra space around the bed. “This is a lovely place to stay, amazing view from the cabin and perfect location:) Loads of nice places around to visit :) Very clean and cozy :) Just need to mention that this is definitely not for 4 adults, I would say for 3 “little humans” - it was visible on the pictures that this is a small cabin, but keep in mind that beds are very small, so I wouldn’t suggest to book for tall and massive people!”

Also important to mention that on the pictures it looks that you will be in the middle of nowhere without any neighbours, but there is a house next to the cabin - wasn’t an issue for us, but maybe for someone who wants a time with the nature only :)) Thanks for our lovely stay ❤️

“We’ve just arrived home from a lovely weekend in the cosy cabin .”

We were welcomed by the owners who are extremely friendly The cabin is central heated and has two bedrooms and an open plan kitchen dining room and lounge it’s so cosy You can see the sea view of Bardsley island in the distance which is stunning It was also the time of year where the baby lambs were no more than a couple of weeks old what an added bonus There is a London shop within 2 miles towards pwellhi We were welcomed with welsh biscuits chocolate and milk so we could have a brew on arrival We also found a lovely beach and harbour at Trefor with a free car park and toilets We would highly recommend the cosy cabin it’s absolutely spotless

“Cabin is a caravan, and internal space therefore very tight External area to is shared I.”

E. parking space which we used to exercise our dogs was then unusable when owner turned up for weekend. Very small for anyone wanting a nice break as cooking wasn't easy due to lack of workspace Storage also very tight as expected from a caravan.

Many thanks for your comments. I am so sorry that you were not happy with the cabin. I took over this property a few months ago and have made a number of changes to the description to reflect the property more accurately. The external area is a driveway – enclosed, lots of space, lovely green areas, and beautiful views but it is not described as anything other than a driveway. I am happy for guests to use the driveway to exercise their dogs whether I am in the cottage next door or not. The cabin is situated in a wonderful remote location with miles of walking on your doorstep. There are numerous beaches within easy drive, and you are only 16 miles from the Snowdonia National Park. It is doggy paradise! Property Owner

“We had a great week's holiday and The Cosy Cabin was just right for us particularly in its location as we were central for visiting many tourist attractions and beauty spots in the area.”

The view from the Cabin was wonderful looking out across the countryside and the private parking was a great asset. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable was provided. We visited the Llyn Peninsula, Barmouth, Anglesey, Bodnant Gardens and Conwy. We also had dinner on the last night at Ty'n Llan in Llandwrog which was excellent and only ten minutes drive north of Llanaelhaearn with lovely views along the way. We would definitely recommend The Cosy Cabin.

“Cabin is clean with a lovely decking area with views to the Irish Sea.”

. It is snug and whereas it will sleep 4 adults, the second bedroom would be more comfy for one adult or two children. Can’t fault the place and some nice touches on arrival. It IS best to use A499 either coming from north or south, our satnav took us along narrow windy lanes for the final 6 miles coming from the south of England with limited passing places. Handy for snowdonia, Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Portmeirion, Harlech, Bangor , Anglesey etc. Very quiet location.

Step into the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to whipping up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, ready to enjoy at the dining table for four over a bottle of wine.

When sleep calls, retire to one of two well-appointed bedrooms, each with a contemporary décor.

In the morning, wake-up tired eyes with a refreshing shower before venturing out to see what the day has in store.

For your local amenities, drive over to the small village of Trefor, where you can stock up on essentials at the convenience store.

Head down to the beach where you can enjoy leisurely strolls or join the renowned Wales Coastal Path for a more scenic hike.

Next stop is Nefyn, where you can spend the day bathing on the golden sands or paddling the shores of Traeth Nefyn, delving into history at Amgueddfa Forwrol Llŷn Maritime Museum or sampling the local ales at Cwrw Llyn.

Continue on to the pretty Italianate village of Portmeirion, where you will find charming shops, an art gallery, and the wonderful eateries of Caffi Glas, Town Hall and No 6 Café Bar.

From here you can easily access the breath-taking Snowdonia National Park, sure to entice any outdoor enthusiasts, with its imposing peaks, including the famous Snowdon Peak, fun-filled Zip World Llechwedd for a day exploring the mines, and the National Trust site of Craflwyn and Beddgelert.

Trefor 3 miles; Nefyn 6 miles; Caernarfon 14 miles.

The historic village of Llanaelaearn is nestled at the foot of the triple peaks of Yr Eifl. The area is rich in prehistory with evidence of Roman and medieval occupation. St Aelhaearn’s Church is a picturesque stone-built church that has its origins linked to St Beuno in the 6/7th century.
Just 2.8 miles away is the coastal village of Trevor which benefits from a convenience store and Post Office.
Trevor beach is only 3 miles away. Walk to your right for a long stretch of beach walking – parts pebbly, parts sandy. Walk to your left to join the Welsh Coastal Path. The harbour wall stretches for nearly 200 meters into the sea and is often used by local fisherman. This is a fantastic crabbing spot. The beach is dog friendly with free parking and toilets. An ice cream van usually visits during peak holiday times.
Nearby, in the village of Llithfaen, is the Welsh Language and Heritage Centre with a lovely cafe overlooking the Irish sea. There is a steep walk down to the pebbly beach which a favourite place for seals at the eastern end of the beach (bear left when you reach the beach.)
The pretty coastal town of Nefyn lies 7 miles away and sits atop sweeping cliffs. Nefyn Beach itself is something of a hidden gem, known for its clear blue waters along with stunning views of the bay, and the distant mountains. Nefyn has shops, pubs and restaurants. The beach is sandy and there are some good rock pools to be found at low tide towards the headland.
Llanaelhearn is also within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli, Caernarfon, Criccieth, Carnaerfon, Abersoch, Portmerion and Bangor. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and water sports are all available. The boundary of the Snowdonia National Park is only 5 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and abundance of superb walks. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, this area makes a superb base for a break on the Llyn Peninsular.
