“We stayed at 1 The Dell for a week in September.”

The chalet was clean and the kitchen was well equipped - apart from the lack of any oven gloves. The tea towels supplied were very thin meaning it was impossible to get anything out of the oven without getting burnt. The fridge freezer was a good size and efficient. The chalet was clean and the kitchen was well equipped - apart from the lack of any oven gloves. The tea towels supplied were very thin meaning it was impossible to get anything out of the oven without getting burnt. The fridge freezer was a good size and efficient. Nice dining table with comfy chairs. The living room was a good size but the sofa was awful. It was L shaped and although the seats were reasonably comfortable, the back was awful. It was very low, giving no support above the shoulders and the cushions were dreadful. We added pillows from the beds for extra comfort. It is also quite small - there were only 3 adults in our party and we feel if there had been four of us we would not have been able to fit on the sofa. There was another chair but this was horrible - uncomfortable and the legs were so wobbly we didn't risk sitting in it. The bathroom had a constant smell in it and the shower was awful. Absolutely no power and the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned or de-scaled. The bedrooms were very small but ok. Furniture was fine and our adult daughter was quite happy in the twin room. This may not have been the case if there were two adults in there though as it was tiny. The double bed was not great - a hard wooden frame made it uncomfortable to sit up in and the bottom of the bed has wooden ends that stick up. There is very little space to get round the bottom of the bed and we had only been in the chalet 10 minutes when my husband hit his knee on it causing bleeding and swelling - not a great start! The mattress was ok but not the best - we kept rolling into the middle. So there were negatives which would probably prevent us going there again, but it could be so nice if these were addressed. The decor of the chalet was lovely - we liked the beach theme. The location is perfect, Mundesley is a lovely village and to be so close to the beach was great. We did enjoy our holiday but the bed, shower and sofa definitely need addressing.
