“It was a lovely restful site and the pod is well built and well maintained.”

The hot tub being hot on arrival was a lovely touch. We couldn't find the walk down to the river so got in the car. Would be worried about driving down the track in bad wet or icy weather and you need the right car for it to be comfortable -perhaps that should be in the details. The fact that it had a sofa and not two chairs would be good to say in the details as that nearly put us off and was a nice suprise. Generally would recommend.

Thank you for your feedback and for making us aware of your concerns regarding the track. We have got provisions in place for icy weather and grit the track when needed in winter. We have also left further details in the property regarding access to the river. Property Owner

About the location

LLANFAIR CAEREINION

Welshpool 8 miles.

The town of Llanfair Caereinion is built upon the site of an old Roman fort, in the valley of the River Banwy. It is a thriving town built around The Church of St Mary, with a Post Office, two supermarkets, and a selection of three different pubs. The annual Llanfair Caereinion Carnival is very popular with locals, and proceeds through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing troupes, providing a Rio carnival atmosphere. There is a river walk along the banks of the Banwy leading to an Arboretum, containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before stepping back in time and jumping on the start of the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool. Welshpool nestles into the upper reaches of the picturesque Severn Valley near the border between Wales and England. This bustling market town is surrounded by rolling hills and glorious unspoilt countryside. There's a unique blend of shops offering arts & crafts, fashion & leisure, fresh produce, and quality pubs and restaurants, as well as the town centre’s restored cock fighting pit and interesting Heritage Trail. Visit the famous 13th Century Powis Castle, and the renowned Dingle Gardens.
