Chalet 2 sits on the Plas Y Dinas Holiday Park in the village of Dinas Mawddwy, Gwynedd.

Whether you are a couple, a group of friends or a family, you can enjoy a wonderful stay in this picturesque setting and create long-lasting memories together.

Step into the open-plan living space, complete with woodburning stove, and instantly feel welcomed into your new home away from home.

Cook up a feast in the kitchen, equipped with all the essentials for a week away, including a handy washing machine for your laundry needs.

On those balmy evenings, step into the secluded garden and patio where you can enjoy a picnic on the bench whilst you take in the beautiful views.

As the night grows darker, choose from three wonderful bedrooms to catch up on your sleep, including two doubles and a bunk room, whilst the family bathroom is where you can prepare for the day with a quick shower or lazy bath.

Explore the village of Dinas Mawddwy, where you can enjoy a hearty meal at the Llew Coch or a get a quick caffeine fix at Caffi'r Hen Siop, accessible via a footpath through the estate.

Settled in the Dyfi Valley, this gorgeous location is perfect for hiking and mountain biking, with the beautiful Aran mountains at the head of the valley being accessible from Dinas Mawddwy and nearby Cadair Idris in Southern Snowdonia can also be easily reached.

Within 9 miles is the Dyfi Bike Park, a must for those keen mountain bikers, while a little further on is the Coed y Brenin Forest Park, offering wooden paths for hiking and biking through gorgeous scenery.

Head 14 miles to the Dyfi Osprey Project where you can see a variety of wild osprey and birds, whilst those interested in plan spotting can visit the Mach Loop and spot low-level flying aircraft!

Head into the Snowdonia National Park and expect to find more stunning scenery and landscapes; head to Zip World in Llanrwst for an adrenalin-filled day out, offering the fastest zip line in the world, Velocity, where you can fly 500m above the bright blue quarry lake.

Dolgellau 10 miles; Machynlleth 12 miles; Barmouth 18 miles.

An attractive, single-street village surrounded by beautiful countryside and overlooked by the wonderful Aran Mountains, in the southern part of Snowdonia National Park. There is a pub in the village and a number of others close by and the Meirion Woollen Mill stands on the banks of the River Dovey and is open to visitors. The delightful town of Dolgellau, which nestles beside the foothills of one of the most spectacular mountains in Wales, Cader Idris, is only 10 miles away and its 17th Century bridges, church and variety of pubs and eating houses create a pleasant atmosphere. This whole area is a paradise for walkers, climbers, birdwatchers and bikers amidst all of Snowdonia and the nearby Coed-y-Brenin Forest with its famous mountain bike trails. Discover the Mawddach Estuary, stunning sandy beaches, narrow gauge steam railways, golf, and a huge range of outdoor pursuits. A superb base for both coast and mountains all year round.
