“WOW...”
This newly built cottage is just about perfect...two spacious bedrooms both with ensuites, an open plan kitchen,(well stocked) dining and sitting room (with 2 very comfortable laura ashley couches, one of which can convert to a bed). The location on the hillside of a beautiful valley is breathtaking, the views are amazing,...there is a veranda on 2 sides of the cottage which allows you to be outside in all weather. It is peaceful and quiet and still only a few minutes drive from the local village which has an award winning takeaway. The beds were so comfortable, the TV in each bedroom a lovely touch. Tom and Olwyn are such gracious hosts, there if you need anything, otherwise leave you alone to rest and relax, we felt very welcome, the local biscuits, t-bags, bread, butter, Elderflower cordial, bottled water already in the fridge, even milk started our week long stay in a high note.. ..come watch the red kites soaring on the thermals over the valley, hear the swifts return to the nearby barn to roost at dusk.....you are truly on holidays, "away from it all". We hope to return, perhaps in Winter, we might be very lucky to stay there in the snow.
