The property

Set amongst the lush woodlands of Kenwick Woods, this modern, well-equipped Scandinavian lodge offers a fantastic alternative to a traditional cottage holiday. Scandinavian-style lodges are set in 80 acres of woodland, within the 320 acre Kenwick Park estate. This lovely Lincolnshire lodge offers single-storey accommodation, accessed by a ramp, with a large and airy open plan living area incorporating a lounge, dining area and well-appointed kitchen. The idyllic market town of Louth is only three miles away.

Known as the capital of the Wolds.

Louth and the Wolds in which it sits, are recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Imagine a holiday of open spaces, breath-taking scenery, rivers and streams, tranquillity, award winning restaurants, welcoming pubs, bustling market towns, local crafts and mile upon mile of footpaths to wander at will over the Lincolnshire Wolds. The setting is breath-taking with its mature woodland, rolling countryside and unspoilt natural beauty. The kitchen is fully equipped, including microwave, 4 ring hob, oven, and dishwasher.

Leading from that is your main living and dining area with a long corner leather sofa with another 2-seater sofa to supplement it.

French doors lead from the lounge area out to the decked balcony with garden furniture, a great spot where you can relax and unwind, take in the tranquil atmosphere, and smell the aromatic woodland pines surrounding you.

For that comfortable nights sleep you have a king-size master bedroom with an en-suite, and a further two bedrooms, one boasting a second king-size bed one a double bed and the other with twin beds, alongside the main family bathroom, and an overhead shower. The log cabin benefits from wi-fi, a washing machine and a shop on site.

Parking is available immediately outside the lodge.

With a championship 18 hole golf course adjacent to the tranquil lodge site, this is an ideal spot for a restful holiday.

If you can tear yourself away from Kenwick Woods you will discover a whole host of attractions, days out and other attractions in the area. Just a short drive away could see you spending time on one of the East Coast's wonderful sandy beaches.

Whether it's the quieter beaches of Theddlethorpe or Sutton or the lively resorts at Skegness and Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire's coastline has something for everyone.

A little further away lies the historic city of Lincoln with its cathedral set proudly on the skyline.
