“The lodge was really nice and we had a lovely few days staying there!”

It made an excellent base for us to explore the area, we didn’t use the facilities at White Cross Bay and so can’t comment on that. The only negatives with the lodge for us were; 1. The bed wasn’t that comfortable (in our opinion). It was very hard and felt like sleeping on a floor! I know others have mentioned how comfy the beds were and so I think this is just down to personal preference. 2. There was a bit of a funny smell in the living/kitchen area. We thought it may have been from cooking from the previous guests the night before but it remained the entire time during our stay. Other than the above, the lodge was lovely, clean and modern, super quiet and we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. The owners have taken on board your comments with regards to the mattress & have purchased a new mattress topper, pleased that you had an enjoyable stay. However we do find that bedding and mattresses are down to personal preference. We take all comments on board. Thank you The Lake District Owner Lodge Holidays Relations Team Property Owner
