The property

Situated on Limefitt Holiday Park in Troutbeck, Cumbia, is Fell Foot Lodge, a single-storey stylish dwelling.

Providing guests with access to on-site facilities, whilst acting as a gateway into Windermere and its abundance of attractions and national park hot spots; the lodge welcomes four guests, ideal for couples, friends, and families alike.

Use the open-plan living space as your social hub, contemporarily furnished with an electric fire, Smart TV, plush seating, large bay windows, and state-of-the-art appliances, where you can fulfil your self-catering needs and unwind.

Venture outside to the veranda to soak in the sunshine and toast to your getaway, before freshening up in the sleek bathroom; here you will find both a bath and shower, enveloped by marble effect files.

When sleep calls, rest in one of two bedrooms, including a double and a twin, both featuring light and airy interiors, ample storage, and TVs.

Come morning, head into Troutbeck to stock up on the essentials, before travelling towards the likes of Windermere and Ambleside, both prime locations within the Lake District National Park.

Enjoy scenic strolls alongside Stock Ghyll Force waterfall, aim to climb up Wansfell Pike, and visit Brockhole on Windermere for an afternoon of archery and golf, before reaching Wray Castle for a guided tour.

The World of Beatrix Potter is also within driving distance, along with Hill Top, both linked to the famous author's life and literature.

About the location

TROUTBECK

Windermere 3 miles; Ambleside 4 miles.

The small Lakeland village of Troutbeck can be found between its more famous neighbours Windermere and Ambleside, close by the Kirkstone Pass. A mixture of houses, cottages and farms, the village is scattered along a narrow lane bordered by a drystone wall. Many of these buildings date back to the 17th Century with features such as mullioned windows and heavy cylindrical chimneys and the northern end boasts its own 17th century inn. Close by, the bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are popular with visitors, providing a range of amenities to suit all tastes. Lake Windermere offers boat trips, including the lakeside ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park. The ‘Windermere Steamboat Museum’ displays a fascinating collection of boats whilst children will enjoy the ‘World of Beatrix Potter’ in Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Within easy reach of destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains, Troutbeck is ideally situated for exploring all that the region has to offer.

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
