“We visited this lodge for a short break with our 3 teenagers and a dog.”

Lodge is in a quiet location and is was very clean with everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Outside decking is secure so ideal if you have a dog and the jacuzzi was great. The only issue we had was with the WiFi. Reception had informed us on arrival that there was no WiFi due to an outage throughout the area this meant this you couldn’t pay by card in the site shop/ restaurant/bar and hence cash machine had no cash. Had to drive out to a cash machine which was frustrating after a long drive to get there. Even when it came back on it was intermittent. Anyway goes to show I suppose how much we rely on technology. Teenagers were initially not happy but probably did them good being off their phones. All in all a lovely break and would go back (perhaps without the teenagers)

Thank you for your lovely feedback about the lodge. We're glad you enjoyed your stay despite the WiFi issue. As the site advised this was an area wide outage so there was little they could do. It is usually good service to our lodges so sorry this happened during your stay. We hope to welcome you again in the future. . Eileen and Graham Jones (owners) Property Owner
