The property

Olivia's Retreat is a fabulous, two-bedroom lodge resting on the outskirts of the coastal village of Heysham, upon Ocean Edge Holiday Park in Lancashire.

With access to a range of on-site facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, a children's play area, and a restaurant, whilst a short journey away from both the shoreline and the city, Olivia's Retreat welcomes four guests and two furry companions for a seaside escape.

Benefit from off-road parking before entering the open-plan living space, complete with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table and a contemporary sitting area where you can relax after a day of exploration.

Head outdoors to the wrap-around decked area to recount your day and enjoy your tranquil setting with a glass of wine in hand.

Return indoors to complete your nightly routine in the shower room, before resting your eyes in either the king-size or twin bedrooms; Olivia’s Retreat is a larger-than-standard lodge, with ample storage space in the master bedroom, as well as full-size single beds in the twin.

Wake up and take advantage of the on-site facilities, before exploring Heysham and its attractions, including Heysham Nature Reserve for hikes, Heysham Harbour South Pier Lighthouse, possible to reach by following the coastal path, Heysham Heritage Centre, and Heysham Golf Club, recommended for avid golfers.

Continue towards Morecambe to enjoy the coastline, where you can stroll across the promenade or take in the beautiful turquoise waters, bordering the town, before reaching Lancaster and its abundance of attractions.

Some favourites include the Lancaster Maritime Museum, Lancaster City Museum, the magnificent grounds of Lancaster Castle, Lancaster Grand Theatre, showcasing a host of events, and the Butterfly House.

Complete your itinerary by reaching the Forest of Bowland AONB for further nature-filled landscapes, before returning to Olivia's Retreat for some family-friendly entertainment.
