In under 35 miles you can be in Newby Bridge at the bottom of Windermere, or travel slightly further afield to enjoy Coniston water, or the wonders of Beatrix Potter in Hawkshead.

Closer to home, enjoy the history of Lancaster castle, Williamson park with the Ashton Memorial, or at the seaside town of Morecambe, under five miles away, where you can enjoy fine sweeping views from the promenade, admire marine-inspired artwork around the town, as well as enjoying the many pleasures of the seaside.
