    “While we did enjoy our stay, there were a few issues that I had.”

    When we were packing to leave we found dirty pairs of children's underwear under the bed in the small room, There were trip hazards in some areas of flooring where it felt like panels were falling creating holes... The hot tub was comforting but was also falling apart, the filter just kept floating away resulting in many bugs floating around as well as many jets and seat cushions being broken. The property

A delightful, wooden-clad lodge, built by the owner himself, this countryside cottage offers spectacular scenery of rolling hills, remarkable sunsets, and even with goats in the neighbouring field offering you the ultimate countryside experience.

Resting on the owner's working farm on the outskirts of the idyllic village of Chipping at the heart of the Ribble Valley, there's no better choice for an escape as a couple or small family to this beautiful spot in Lancashire.

Take two steps up onto the decking of this all-ground-floor abode, soaking in your scenery before stepping into the spacious open-plan living space; flick on the electric fire to warm the room and bring a homely aura, before settling down on the spacious sofa wrapping around the room.

Move to the plush seating of the dining area to enjoy all your home-made meals, the kitchen area assisting in all your home-cooking hosting a convenient electric oven and gas hob and a fridge with an ice box, perfect for a self-catered stay.

At the end of each day of adventure seek comfort in one of the two inviting bedrooms, choosing from the master double and the accompanying modest twin room, offering a lovely layout for those with little ones.

Begin your day with a refreshing rinse in the shower room, with a separate cloakroom offering plenty of preparation space to prepare, before stepping out onto the decking and soaking in your magnificent surroundings with a coffee in hand.

Those who can't leave the house without their horse friend will delight in the fact that the property has access to it's very own horse stables, a fabulous asset to the property for both you and your animals.

Sitting within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there's so much natural splendour to be discovered; begin your exploration in the local village of Chipping, where you can find the conveniences of both a farm shop where you can pick up fresh produce, as well as a pub and English restaurant catering to all of your cuisine needs.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with outdoor adventure all around too; venture to the Parlick mountain peak for a steady hike with rewarding views at the top and even the chance to watch paragliders take to the skies, with the nearby Marilyn mountain of Longridge Fell offering commanding views in every direction making it the perfect spot for a romantic picnic.

Take a scenic stroll around the Beacon Fell Country Park, home to 110 hectares of woodland, moorland and farmland, it offers wonderful opportunities to wildlife watch on a leisurely walk, ideal for all abilities.
