“We absolutely loved our stay here last week and are sad to be back home again.”
Everything we could possibly need was thought of - and even extra helpful things for our rescue greyhound too. The huge windows in the main living area made wildlife spotting so enjoyable. I was able to do lots of wildlife photography just through the windows as there was so much to see! So many birds but also red squirrels and even rabbits, which I wasn’t expecting to see in winter.

The garden area was great for our greyhound. At first, we took him out on his lead just to be extra careful, but by the end of the week, we were confidently letting him off lead and he was so happy running around.
In terms of inside the lodge, the beds were so comfortable and I found it easy to get to sleep. The lodge was decorated wonderfully with nice animal themed artwork. The log burner was also a nice touch and helped warm the living area up quickly, and also made it extra cosy. It really was just so homely and comfortable! Additionally, the area is so remote and peaceful, and with it being in the middle of nowhere, on a clear night you can see hundreds and thousands of stars! And it’s not far away from some nice locations to visit either, so we had a good balance between visiting busier locations and coming back to a quiet peaceful lodge. We’d absolutely love to come back and will hopefully book again in the near future!
