“I stayed recently in the Lodge for a week with my Daughter and teenage grandson.”

The lodge was wonderful with everything we needed for a great stay. The small issue we had during the stay was responded to immediately by the Lodge owner. The site is small and friendly residents and staff were very welcoming and helpful through the week. The tunnels on site were interesting, shame they seemed to be being used as a public toilet by some campers. We used the restaurant on site which was great and even joined in with the Halloween pub quiz and came 3rd. The beach, though a climb ...

The beach, though a climb down to reach was wonderful and my Grandson and I loved exploring. We can't wait to return next year.

About the location

TORPOINT

Wilcove 1.3 miles; Antony 3.2 miles; Whitsand Bay 5.7 miles.

Torpoint is a town and civil parish on the Rame Peninsula in southeast Cornwall. It is an eighteenth-century planned town, with the grid-based design having been commissioned by Reginald Pole Carew in 1774. His family continue to have a strong influence in the area, having become the Carew Poles in the twentieth century, and still reside at their family seat, Antony House. Torpoint only became a town in the early nineteenth century. Before this, the nearby village of Antony was the main centre in the area. The area is home to an array of gardens, museums, pubs and restaurants - with surf schools boat trips, cliff top walking and cycling for the more active types. Let's not forget some of the finest historic houses on display and open to the public to explore. Torpoint is a wonderful town with plenty of activities and sightseeing opportunities - you will not want to miss this.
