    The lodge has everything you need. It’s just the internet can be intermittent but we didn’t let it spoil our stay. A nice welcome gift too.

The property

Located on the idyllic Rosecraddoc Holiday Village, two miles from Liskeard, is this inviting lodge, Blue Sky Cottage.

A homely feel greets you when you enter, with its snug sitting area and well-equipped kitchen making a great place for the group to relax and make plans.

There is also a separate dining room where everyone can congregate to enjoy a sumptuous feast, with a toast to a much-needed getaway.

As the night rolls in, retire to either the double or twin bedroom, each furnished in neutral tones and served by a refreshing bathroom.

Step outside and delight in the lovely quiet patio, ideal for alfresco dining and long summer evenings.

The local area offers fantastic outdoor activities; embark on a journey through Bodmin Moor, where footpaths trail across broad, sweeping landscapes, and two beautiful lakes are within easy driving distance, both offering great opportunities for fishing, cycling and watersports.

For a more relaxed day, head into the market town of Liskeard and browse the independent shops, arts and heritage centre or visit the many notable buildings, including Victorian Guildhall, Regency Market Hall and St. Martin's Church.

From Liskeard you can catch a train to the fishing village of Looe and enjoy a journey full of beautiful views where the river meets the sea, or head further afield to the famous naval city of Plymouth for a memorable day out.

With such a variety of things to do, Blue Sky Cottage is ideally located to offer an enjoyable holiday or short break at any time of year.

LISKEARD

Looe 9 miles, Bodmin 13 miles.

The historic market town of Liskeard is located in South East Cornwall at the head of the Looe Valley. The town is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches and harbour of the quaint fishing port of Looe is a mere 9 miles away. In-between there’s fishing at nearby Siblyback Lake, the Donkey Sanctuary at St Ann's Chapel, Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, and the championship golf course at St Mellion International Resort. Head to the world-famous Eden Project for a superb day out with the children. Even the maritime city of Plymouth with its historic Barbican docks area, outstanding shops, theatres and restaurants and the National Maritime Museum is only 30 minutes by car.
