“This chalet was way over priced and nof a very low standard.”

The kitchen was in need of all new cupboards and drawers and the sofa needs replacing. The coffee table was covered in scratches and wobbled. You can't put any milk in the fridge over a 2 pint carton in the door unless you remove the shelves and tray. The double bed is too small for an average height adult. I'm only 5ft8 and my legs hung over the bottom of the bed. There is no storage or shelves in the bathroom or towel rail, it is very poor. The windows were filthy and and the drawers in the ...

The windows were filthy and and the drawers in the bedroom were full of hairs and bits of things I can't describe. The inside of the kettle was peeling away and contained lots of broken plastic that I thankfully didn't swallow. These chalets should not cost more than at least £400. I have photos and video evidence which I will posting to Trip Advisor. The poor quality of the chalet was the low point of our holiday. Also the attitude of the staff is you're staying in basic accomodation so what do you expect. £656 is not basic or cheap payment for accomdation. Very poor.

About the location

BRIXHAM

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
