“On arrival the place was crawling with spiders, the inside of the cupboards were filthy, there was quite alot of black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom there were no towels left for us even though it stated they were included in the holiday let it was a good job I had my own otherwise we would of had to use one tea towel( that they did have )for all of us to shower an wash up with .”

As we arrived late at night I was unable to complain but when I did nothing was really done yes they gave us some towels which smelled and had terrible stains on them they also asked if we would like the place to be cleaned which is abit stupid when we're moved in ,so they expect us to lose half a day in our home in which we have paid for.But by then I had cleaned the place myself!! Then by the second week I had to ask when are we getting the bedding changed with staying here for three weeks ...

Then by the second week I had to ask when are we getting the bedding changed with staying here for three weeks the response was they wasn't aware of having to. Then finally on the last day of our stay when we were clearing up making sure we hadn't left anything my son came to me and said he had found what was a mouldy spatula under neath his bed!!! ..Well just shows how good the cleaners are here..!! The kitchen didn't have quite enough adequate cooking equipment and what they did was unsuitable the saucepans were scratched I couldn't use them and had to buy my own and there no suitable bowls to use in the microwave all plates an bowls they did have had a gold rims round them. You have to watch the fridge door aswell...when ever you open it it catches the corner of the work top and scratches the door. On all I don't think this place is worth the amount I paid and I wish for a part refund. from Karen

Thank you for your feedback. You contacted me prior to your stay to ask about the frequency of linen being changed and I asked Management/Cleaning company to liaise with you regarding this, which they did. You also contacted me on the morning of the second day of your stay to advise me of the issues with the spiders, the cupboards, the mould and the missing towels. I advised you that I would arrange for the Management/Cleaning company to contact you and they did call to the bungalow straight away with fresh towels for you. If you were not happy with the condition of the towels and you had let them know at the time then fresh towels would have been provided. They also offered to do an immediate clean for you, which you declined at the time. The Management/Cleaning company did contact you to arrange to provide fresh linen and towels part way through your stay, which was done with your agreement. Whilst doing the linen change it was noted that you had moved the furniture around in the twin bedroom and also had several boxes of your personal items in that room, so we are not able to comment on how your son found a mouldy spatula under the bed when you were clearing up prior to leaving. I can only apologise that the pans were scratched but if you had let either the Management Company or myself know we would have arranged for them to be replaced during your stay. This property is furnished and equipped as a holiday let not a residential let. I will, however, make sure that the pans are replaced and the crockery is either replaced or will provide more bowls suitable for a microwave. Thank you for pointing out the issue with the fridge door. These issues will be attended to as soon as practicable. I am sorry my property did not meet your expectations but if you were unhappy with anything during your stay and you had contacted either the Management/Cleaning company or myself (you had my number) at the time we would have done our best to resolve your issues and make your stay more enjoyable.
