The property

Resting alongside a tranquil village near the picturesque village of Clifton Upon Teme, Worcestershire is this beautifully presented pod, Goose Pod.

Hosting an open-plan layout and unbeatable countryside within a working farm and lakeside views, this pod is perfect for a romantic getaway at any time of year.

On arrival at the pod, park your car and make your way past the peaceful lake and into your quaint abode.

Kick off your walking boots and sink into the sofa after a day of exploring to watch the TV.

From here, take advantage of the compact yet well-equipped kitchen to whip up a mouth-watering meal to enjoy at the dining table as you toast to wonderful break.

In the evenings, utilise the barbecue and take your dinner alfresco on the decking, or perhaps enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling hot tub while you admire the views; a day fishing for specimen carp can also be enjoyed off the decking or off the lakeside.

When sleep calls, a plush double bed awaits you, and in the morning, a sleek fitted shower room provides space to prepare for another day of adventures.

Salford Court Farm

Settled within the wonderful countryside, resting besides a lovely lake are sheep with lambs, cows with carves and the farmers working the land.. Charming pods and cabins, all with ground-floor living and views of the lake. Each with a private garden area with a balcony, hot tub and furniture for soaking in the peaceful setting, these group of pods/cabins are an excellent base for a romantic escape to the rolling countryside of Clifton Upon Teme. Just paces away from a village store to stock up on fresh produce and two traditional pubs to get better acquainted with the culture, this is a fantastic location for a self-catering experience. The Alaskan-style cabins offer an open-plan living space with three bedrooms and all properties possess a shower room with a walk-in shower for a refreshing rinse in the morning. The pods are a studio-style layout, with a double bed in the corner of the space. All properties offer central heating; however, the cabins also provide a woodburning stove. All the beds can hold luggage underneath for moving around the properties with ease. All properties have access to a fantastic on-site fishing lake fully stocked with carp, perfect for keen anglers. The group lies next to the Shelsley Walsh Hill, a historic hill climb that offers superb views of the area, along with being perfect for the motor enthusiasts of the group as it is the oldest motorsport venue in the world to still run events! The group is also within easy reach of fascinations attractions, including the Italianate mansion of Witley Hall, resting in the village of Great Witley and the vibrant city of Worcester, where you can explore the magnificent Cathedral, which overlooks the River Severn, feel inspired at the diverse exhibitions at The Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum or enjoy learning at Tudor House Museum. Don’t forget to make a stop at Ludlow, home to the fascinating 11th-century Ludlow Castle and Ludlow Museum, ideal for exploring the towns rich history. There a plenty more market towns within the area, including Tenbury Wells, home to the fascinating Tenbury Museum, as well as Great Malvern, a town bordering onto an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and home to plenty of activities for all the family.

Clifton upon Teme is an attractive village, named after the River Teme, which the village overlooks and is a fantastic example of an Anglo-Saxon settlement with its ancient buildings. Home to a village shop, village hall, a parish church and two traditional pubs serving home-cooked meals along with its rich history of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, as well as its beautiful countryside setting, this village is a great place for outdoor walkers and history explorers. The delightful village of Great Witley is within easy reach with its stunning ruins of Witley Court for a fascinating trip into history. Visit the vibrant city of Worcester, home to a magnificent Cathedral and the most scenic cricket pitch in the whole of the country. Worcester also makes a fantastic shopping trip, with a shopping centre and a great selection of bars and restaurants for a treat afterwards.
