The property

A romantic bolt-hole designed exclusively for couples seeking comfort and escapism, Nordstrom is tucked away in a rural hamlet which is a short and easy drive to the dramatic north Cornish coastline and beaches. Superbly positioned for a varied and memorable holiday experience, this architect-designed Scandinavian-style log cabin is situated in Ventongimps, less than 1.5 miles to the A30 and the village of Callestick and close to the coastal village of St Agnes, the large tract of sand at Perranporth Beach and the cathedral city of Truro.

It nestles in a hidden valley sheltered from the Atlantic breeze with only bird song and whispers of the sea to disturb the peace.

Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, gentle strolls, fireside suppers, panoramic views and magical sunsets await.

Scenic rambles can commence from the front door along numerous footpaths and byways including the Cornwall Wildlife Trust Reserve.

Work up an appetite and stop for a refreshing Cornish ale and delicious lunch at one of the local pub/restaurants.

Return to your cosy log cabin, stoke up the wood burner, admire the view through glazed sliding doors on settees in which to relax and settle into rural bliss. The inviting interior is smart, spacious and bathed in natural light.

A gorgeous open plan living room incorporates a stylish kitchen with all the mod cons and a dining table with beautiful views over the gorgeous garden towards rolling farmland.

Run the outside bath, sit and relax whilst gazing at the sky or beautiful surroundings.

Designed for outdoor living, in warmer weather slide back the glazed doors and let the outside in or dine alfresco on the deck which is a real sun-trap.

The bedroom is furnished with a super comfy bed, soft cotton bed linens and ample storage and there is a modern sky-lit shower room with Velux Windows to watch clouds race and stars shine. The friendly owners, who reside within the grounds, have excellent local knowledge and tips for seaside outings and provide a delicious welcome tray including homemade scones on arrival.

This is an excellent venue for ramblers, golfers, anglers, photographers, artists, foodies, garden enthusiasts, romantics and those who simply wish to unwind and feel cosseted.
