“Just back from a week's stay at Willow Lodge - my first visit but not my last.”

Everything was just right, a true home from home. The lodge was incredibly comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and the cream tea on arrival was delicious and very welcome.

“Everything was just right!”

The cabin was spotless, extremely well equipped, very comfortable and spacious too. The owners are so friendly and easy to contact if you need anything but they also respect your privacy. The extra touches of fudge, cream tea, pint of milk and fresh flowers were much appreciated. This is by far the best equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in (we’ve been here twice now!). The location is perfect to make the most of this beautiful county as it is right at Cornwall’s geographical centre. We had a fabulous two weeks and plan to return again. Thank you to Jill and co for everything, you really made us feel valued and welcome guests.

“Our stay at Willow Lodge was above our expectations.”

The property was exactly as described and was very comfortable and well presented. It was a very nice surprise that a cream tea had been left for us on arrival. Jill the owner came round and introduced herself and made sure we were happy with everything and gave us the best route to access the Lodge. We were not interrupted at all by anyone after that but knew that if there was any problems we could easily contact Jill or anyone else. The internet in the Lodge was good and it was easy to use the smart tv for Utube. I would not hesitate to recommend the Lodge to anyone else.

“Myself and my partner stayed a week and can’t wait to return to this beautiful Willow lodge.”

It’s breathtaking views across to Bodmin.The Christmas trees that stand so beautiful in the grounds are wonderful and so well kept.Car is safe and secure in there car park. We made new friends with the cats and a Heffalump and her calf that live around the grounds. We couldn’t wait to return after a day exploring Cornwall to this wonderful Willow Lodge. It’s got everything you need in and around the lodge. All the family that run this retreat can’t do enough for you. The information about how you get to the location is well written and if you need to stop and get essentials or any other information it’s all there in the pack and email. The lovely welcome pack full of information and vouchers was a plus. We visit places we didn’t know even existed from the pack.The entrance discount and % off deals are worth visiting theses places. We’ve not stopped talking about this stay to everyone because it really was such a relaxing break away. Would recommend anyone staying anytime of the year because it’s just beautiful. Can’t wait for our return and we’re definitely stay more then a week.

“We stayed at willow lodge in December 2022 after having to reschedule our new years stay in 2021 due to us catching covid.”

The owners of this accommodation were amazing in rescheduling our stay for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless, tea, sugar, scones, jam and milk were left for us on arrival which was amazing! The lodge even had a Christmas tree decorated in the living area which was a lovely touch! The lodge was a great base for us to explore different parts of Cornwall, will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

“Willow Lodge is fabulous and perfect in every way and was bigger than I was expecting.”

The lodges are equipped to a very high standard with so many thoughtful and kind touches. I can’t think of anything that could be better and the location is central so you can quickly get to many great places to visit. Jill, the owner is on hand nearby if you need information but not intrusive so you can remain by yourselves if you wish. I think the lodges would be cosy across all seasons as there are plenty of radiators around. I can’t recommend these lovely six lodges highly enough, they are ........ just perfect.

“We had a great time at willow cottage, It had everything we could have wanted and more.”

The bed was great ,quality towels and linen the kitchen was great good quality pots pans cutlery and crockery, good dishwasher, washer/dryer was very good, but for me it was all the little extras like washing tabs dishwasher tablets washing up liquid sponge cloths cling film tinfoil salt and pepper tea towels tea coffee sugar a pint of milk and a welcoming cream tea all the bits we normally take or buy when you get somewhere . The hosts where great ,there if you need them and not if you don't ,always nice to talk to. Great internet took my firestick along that worked well but the TV has Netflix youtube Amazon already on there if you put your settings on. Overall we had a great 2 weeks exploring Cornwall and because Bodmin is quite central your not far from north and south coast. We enjoyed willow so much we booked another week in September and won't Ake half as much as we did this time because it's all there .

“We have just returned from a fortnight's stay in Willow Lodge.”

We can honestly say that this is the best cottage/lodge/cabin that we have ever stayed in. On arrival, we were greeting with a tray containing everything needed for a cream tea & there was a lovely vase of flowers on the dining table There was absolutely everything you would need even down to a little sewing kit in case a button comes off or a hem comes down. There was the usual information folder with some appropriate numbers should we have needed them & there was an envelope containing leaflets for days out. In most places, there's a bin liner to start off with and then you provide your own Not there. There was a roll of bin liners, there was a small box with enough dish washer tablets to last, another small plastic box with washing tablets in, there was foil, cling film, enough cooking equipment for whatever you were cooking. Outside, there was a table & chairs on the veranda, there was another table and chairs on a little patio with a parasol in the shed. The was a rotary line & pegs to hang washing out & there was a swing ball if you fancied a game. Jill & her son Richard were very friendly and approachable. We asked for a fan as the bedroom was quite warm at night, when we returned after our day out there on the veranda was a fan. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly reccomend booking one of these hand built lodges. We will definitely be making a return visit at some point.

“Perfect lodge in a very scenic location.”

It had better views than I expected too! Willow lodge was very quiet and private. Spacious and comfortable, everything worked, no issues at all. Lovely owner Jill and a very welcoming cream tea. Was sad to leave and if I am down in Cornwall in the future this place will be at the top of my list to stay again.

“A superb holiday accommodation in a great location to explore some great areas of Cornwall, easily accessible to the North & South coasts as well as Bodmin etc.”

This is our 2nd stay at Tregullon and we already can't wait to go back, the hosts are lovely and really make sure everything is ok for you and are onsite should you need anything too. The cabin is so clean, comfy & well equipped, and the arrival cream tea is a lovely touch too. It's also so quiet which is just perfect. Each cabin is really spacious inside & has its own outside seating area, bbq, and plenty of extra seating in the shed for each cabin too, not forgetting Swingball! Highly recommend to anyone.

“I booked Willow Lodge on Tregullon Farm as a central hub for a 5 day Cornish adventure for me and my four year old daughter.”

Both of us loved the cabin and were immediatley impressed with its facilities, cleanliness and location. On arrival we met Jill, the owner, who greeted us warmly and took the time to make us feel at home and offered helpful advice. The complimentary cream tea and Cornish fudge was gratefully received after a long drive. The cabin was spotless - both the kitchen and bathroom suites were clean, modern and well equipped. The bed, available as a super-king or as 2 singles, was comfortable. The lounge area with comfy sofas, an electric fireplace and flat screen TV were equally comfortable. The cabin included lots of information about the nearby area and tourist information pertaining to Cornwall at large. Access to the cabin was easy from nearby Bodmin. There was plenty of room for parking and although the other cabins were in use we'd not have known were it not for occasional and polite hellos with the other holidaymakers in the carpark area - it was extremely peaceful and quiet. The surrounding grounds are divided up with foliage to make large individual gardens where we played in the evenings. We had a private and large picnic table, a BBQ and a patio table and there were even outdoor toys and other essentials, including garden furniture, a parasol and some beach equipment in the cabin's shed. Willow's location offered a beautiful view over the nearby village of Lanivet. Its location in the heart of Cornwall, in a quiet countryside setting but only a stones throw from the convenience of Bodmin was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again for its central location, ease of access, great facilities and prospects as either a small family getaway or a romantic retreat. My thanks to Jill for all of her help.

The property

Willow Lodge is a detached cabin located in Lanivet in central Cornwall.

It provides one bedroom with a super king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, the property can sleep two people.

The interior also comes with an open-plan living area including a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire.

To the outside, there is off road parking as well as a patio with furniture and a decked veranda.

Bodmin 5 miles.

A small village just to the west of Bodmin, Lanivet is a collection of picturesque properties, an award-winning fish and chip restaurant, a pub and a few shops. The main town in the area is Bodmin, with its shopping centre and local attractions of the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the Camel cycle trail, and the Bodmin Jail with its courtroom experience. Close by are Bodmin Moor, the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House and Gardens for walking and cycling, as well as the magnificent Eden Project. Cornwall’s northern surfing coast and beaches are some twelve miles away, and the south coast is eight miles away. With good communication links on the doorstep to all parts of Cornwall, Lanivet is an ideal location for touring or for a simply relaxing Cornish break.
